Following an appearance at the Troubadour club in Los Angeles on Tuesday, people are left wondering on the relationship status of Twilight co-stars Robert Patterson and Kirsten Stewart. The pair were hanging out at the club, seeing indie duo Jenny and Johnny (admitted offstage sweethearts Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice).

The pair is about to start filming on the final two installments of the twilight saga, which are based on the book ‘Breaking Dawn’ by Stephanie Myer. Leaving the Troubadour via the backstage entrance, the pair looked to be hoping to avoid photographers and any extra attention.

The pair have never publicly spoken about their relationship, which has led to more and more rumors being spoke about the couple, if they or aren’t they. The duo is attempting to keep their private lives private, which is hard to do in a society where so many people are so celebrity obsessed and there’s money to be made by magazines for any information on the pair.

“I never know anything,” Elizabeth Reaser told MTV News about the duo earlier this year. “I’m also, like, the clueless person on set that has no idea what’s happening. And I think I like it that way.”

Last night was a huge night for “Twilight” fans. “New Moon” took home an astonishing five MTV Movie Awards. But despite the huge success of the film, viewers were left talking more about a very public kiss between two secretive co-stars.

While accepting their award for Best Kiss last night, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson finally gave fans what they have been waiting for. The rumored couple engaged in a lip lock on stage after teasing about their lack of chemistry. Kristen actually warned that without the “smoke and mirrors,” the kiss would be lacking some real magic. But fans seemed pleased with what they got. The crowd went crazy as Kristen and Rob locked lips for the first time in public.

In addition to the Best Kiss award, Rob and Kristen both took home individual Golden Popcorn trophies for “New Moon.” Kristen won for Best Female Performance while Rob beat out Taylor Lautner for Best Male Performance.

Robert Pattinson often has said that fame and all the hype in a way disorients him. He would still like to sit at the corner of a pub and enjoy with his friends, unrecognized. But the 24 year old heartthrob is singing a different tune lately. He enjoys his fame, as he told to Argentina’s Seventeen magazine. Now the guy fins being famous is “amazing” and the things that can be done with all the attention that he is getting.

This realization of fame being good came to Rob when he started working for the people whose lives were devested due to the earthquake that happened in Haiti. So with the help through the various charitable works he feels that finally the fame is being put into good use. Pattinson really hopes that he is able to help those people to re-build their lives and inspire other people, his fans to do the same for the people who are in need. The Brit said it is for other people to say whether he has been able to contribute to the “planet” or have been able to inspire others, but he truly wishes that he has been able to.

Well we already love Robert Pattinson and his blood sucking vampire avatar, now we are falling in love with this humane side of his too. However, Rob doesn’t want to have the powers of Edward Cullen if given the chance, he would rather be Spiderman and “spend all day climbing and jumping the tallest buildings.”
