The first half of Breaking Dawn hits theaters in slightly less than a year, Nov. 18, 2011, and while that may feel like a long way away we just got our first peek at the film. The movie’s director, Bill Condon, shared this picture on Twitter showing Kristen Stewart’s hand amid feathers on Edward and Bella’s wedding night. We saw Robert and Kristen filming their bikini and shirtless honeymoon scene and other romantic bits and pieces down in Brazil earlier in the month, but now that they are back on location in Louisiana there haven’t been many photos. We’re months away from a more legitimate look at Breaking Dawn part one.

Coming courtesy of Algonquin Books, the latest run of Sara Gruen’s novel features a new sleeve with snaps from the movie – which has given us our first sneaky glimpse at the stars of the film adaptation.

Most impressive is “R-Pattz’s” tamed mane, with not a hint of the Edward Cullens about him. Of course, Witherspoon’s going for gold with that wavy crop (there’s definitely some Marilyn Monroe mixed in there), while Waltz is happy to sit and simmer with Oscar-winning gravitas.

Water For Elephants follows Pattison veterinary student, who looks after the animals of a traveling circus during the Great Depression. There, he meets Marlena (Witherspoon) and her twisted animated trainer husband August (Waltz).

I Am Legend helmer Francis Lawrence directs. The film opens on 22 April, 2011.

Martyrs, the French horror film from Pascal Laugier, is getting the remake treatment as many of you know. And rumors were rampant that Kristen Stewart would be joining the cast, but alas, those are just rumors. Daniel Stamm, director of the remake, laughed when asked about the casting move and said that it was “the first I’ve heard of that.” As disturbing as it is to consider no Stewart, the more concerning issue at this point is that Stamm directed the previous PG-13 horror The Last Exorcism, and he’s already stating that his version will offer “a glimmer of hope,” the LA Times reports.

This news makes it seem as if the producers, who were also behind Twilight by the way, are completely oblivious to the original version of Martyrs. Let’s just hope they don’t try to tame it down for the teenage crowd. You couldn’t pull that off without de-gutting what made Laugier’s take so successful. But this is Hollywood, we’re talking about, so it’s a distinct possibility.

Kristen Stewart’s family think some of the movies she makes are “boring”.

The 20-year-old actress is considered one of Hollywood’s most promising young talents, and is celebrated for her part in the Twilight movie franchise, as well as her appearances in less mainstream films including Into the Wild and The Runaways.

Kristen enjoys stretching herself and doesn’t want to be typecast, although she admits sometimes her family wish she would settle for big budget studio productions.

“My whole family are like, ‘Why are you always doing these boring independent films for the Sundance Festival?’ I tell them those films are my favourite,” she told more! magazine.

“We have different opinions but they’re very proud of me.”

Kristen’s mother is particularly pleased with her daughter’s choice to appear as the female lead in the Twilight films, which tell the tale of a young girl who falls in love with a handsome vampire.

Jules Mann-Stewart has always been fascinated by the genre, so was thrilled when her daughter landed the part of Bella Swan.

“My mom was a history major at school and she was really intrigued by Vlad the Impaler [Dracula]. So she loves vampire and pirates and is really into Twilight,” added Kristen.

Gearing up for an international flight, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart strolled through the terminal at Rio de Janeiro airport over the weekend.

The “Twilight” costars both looked cool and casual as they brought their time in Brazil, where they filmed scenes for “Breaking Dawn,” to an end.

In related news, Robert was awarded two trophies at the BBC Radio One Teen Awards, though he was unable to personally accept them.

Pattinson scored the win in the Best Actor and Best Dressed categories. He sent a video message to thank his fans.
