‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson has said that he is not a “hunk” and therefore cannot live up to the media hype surrounding him.

According to Showbiz Spy, the actor said: “I can never live up to the image that the media have created, I am not that ‘hunk’.”

“Besides that there is always the fear that women only want to date me because I’m famous, and with a little bad luck they will go straight to the gossip press afterward.”

According to The Showbiz 411, Rob has been invited to attend the National Movie Awards in London May 26. While that comes as no surprise after the Twilight series picked up 5 nominations including one for Rob, we don’t think he will be there. Mainly that’s because he’s set to start filming his next project Water For Elephants around that same time.

Robert Pattinson has leapt to such meteoric heights with Twilight that I am compelled to compare him with his veteran counterpart, the super sexy Johnny Depp.

Hollywood’s sexy actor Johnny Depp who, at 46, gives the young breed of actors a run for their money is considered (and rightly so) the world’s sexiest and most stylish man alive. Besides being a gorgeous-looking hunk, he’s one of the finest actors to have ever graced the showbiz industry. Now, it’s true that Robert Pattinson has just kissed stardom and he has to prove his mettle for years till he can step into the shoes of Jack Sparrow. But, does he have the potential:

With Eclipse just about two months away, we’re in the middle of the calm before the crazy storm that will be Twilight promotion round 3.

If you remember (like you could forget), Taylor Lautner was significantly pimped out by Summit, publicity-wise, so as to rally troops over to Team Jacob—since Robert Pattinson wasn’t featured in New Moon very much.

If you ask us, it backfired. Lautner overload! But then again, surely some of you think we do that with Robsten, too.

So will Rob and Kristen get some quality alone time on their worldwide press tour, now that Edward is back majorly in Eclipse? And which star has some suits concerned over potential too-cool-for-school behavior?

“Eclipse will be ménage à trois promotion, just like it was before with New Moon,” dishes one of our always-knowing Twilight insiders. Guess that’s good news for Team Jacob!

“It’s all the same; it’s built around [Rob, Kristen and Taylor] and that’s exactly how it will be positioned, nothing’s different.”

That is, nothing will be different if our fave castmembers behave, but some execs are worried one star may be a little fussy and not stick to the promo plan.

“That is the game plan,” continued our Twi insider. “At least, until one of [the cast] becomes squirrelly at the end and starts becoming difficult because she thinks the whole Twilight franchise depends on her. We do run that risk.”

Say it ain’t so! Our gal K.Stew getting divalicious? Surely the Summit source was somehow referring to Nikki Reed? Ugh—we just can’t believe it about our darling Kristen. But hey, maybe her Coachella weekend is an indicator that she’s figured out exactly how to play the media game?

Maybe this babe is way smarter than any of us give her credit for!

Kristen Stewart has been featured in countless magazines in the past year, and she’ll be adding another one to her list very soon — Rolling Stone! Inside sources tell HollywoodLife.com that Kristen attended a photo shoot in New York on March 17, which could be for the cover of an upcoming issue.

Kristen would be the second Twilight star to grace the cover of Rolling Stone, the first being His Royal Hotness Taylor Lautner. Remember those steamy wet t-shirt photos of Taylor? Let’s hope we get something just as great from K-Stew!

Robert Pattinson gets married in Budapest — well, at least that’s what his character Georges Duroy does in the latest film adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s Bel Ami.

In addition to Pattinson, who can be seen in costume arriving on the set, others featured in the clip are Holly Grainger as the bride Suzanne, Colm Meaney (or someone who looks like him standing next to her; Meaney plays Suzanne’s father), Uma Thurman, and, of course, numerous classily dressed extras. I wasn’t able to spot Kristin Scott Thomas (who plays Suzanne’s mother).

The video clip, which offers a really cool look at what takes place on a movie set, is divided into a few segments:

The extras waiting for Pattinson to show up; Pattinson showing up in a dark vehicle (he doesn’t wave at anyone; just looks straight ahead, marching on his way to work); the bride (Grainger) entering the church; Uma Thurman leaving the set (she gets some applause and briefly waves at the fans); Pattinson arriving (again), from a different angle and from a distance.

The wedding scene was shot in Budapest’s Egyetem ter district. I’ve been to Budapest. It’s a beautiful city. I can see how it could easily “pass for” Paris.

Nope, there’s no evidence that Kristen Stewart was on the set disguised as an extra…
