Kristen Stewart was photographed a million times while she had the mullet she got to play Joan Jett in The Runaways. (The last time she was shot before she chopped it? For her Allure cover.) Now, the movie itself is finally here—it played at the Sundance Festival and it will be released in mid-March—and it turns out the dirty-sexy makeup is just as noteworthy as the hair. We talked to makeup department head for the film, Robin Mathews, about the looks she created on Stewart and Dakota Fanning, who plays Jett’s bandmate Cherie Currie. “Joan Jett and Cherie Currie weren’t really into lipstick because it was such a pain in the ass to keep on,” says Mathews, “so the look of The Runaways is all about the eyes.” And though Stewart and Fanning aren’t big makeup girls themselves—“neither of them needs a stitch of makeup” says Mathews—they got so into the characters that they even did what they needed to get the look right. “Sometimes we’d apply Kristen’s eyeliner at night, then she’d sleep in it, and it was in all the right creases in the morning when she came to the set,” says Mathews, who used Make Up For Ever products. “When she’d come in after sleeping in black kohl liner, I’d blend and smudge it out with a brown eye shadow and a small stiff eye shadow brush on the top lid and under the eye.”

Message boards and Twitter have been all atwitter about Robert Pattinson’s cover shoot for the March issue of Details magazine.

People are claiming the issue features a partially clothed Pattinson photographed getting “a lap dance,” being “straddled” by a woman,” and even standing while a woman on her knees simulates oral sex on him.

Gossip Cop has the REAL details about what’s really in Details.

First off, Pattinson is FULLY clothed in all of the dozen or so photographs. He’s not even shirtless in any of the pictures.

And there are no straddling shots. No lap dance shots. No simulated oral sex shots. None of it.

While it’s true the models are nude in some pictures, remember that it’s Details magazine, so readers won’t be exposed to their details either.

Insiders tell Gossip Cop the photos are “super sexy,” yet “tasteful.” We also hear the pictures have an “Old Hollywood” feel to them. One source described the photos as embodying “1920s, 1930s Hollywood glamor.”

The Pattinson cover technically hits newsstands on February 23, but Gossip Cop is told some copies will be available a few days earlier.

Mark your calendars, “Twilight” fans.

Robert Pattinson makes his first appearance on ABC’s “The View” on March 2.

He will be there to promote the film “Remember Me” with co-star Emilie De Raven. That film comes out in March and casts Pattinson as a troubled college student who becomes infatuated with De Raven’s character.

“The View” airs at 11 a.m. weekdays on WFTV-Channel 9. How will the ladies of “The View” react to Pattinson? That should be worth a look. Pattinson is shown at last year’s Teen Choice Awards in this AP Photo by Matt Sayles.

I’ve added a scan of Kristen and Dakota in Entertainment Weekly, to the Gallery.

The magazine will be released on February 9th!

More stills from Robert Pattinson’s upcoming drama Remember Me have been released, and we can’t help but think we’ve seen ‘em somewhere before.

That is, if you take out Emilie de Ravin and insert Kristen Stewart.

Rob’s really beginning to nail that angsty I want you but can’t have you just yet look.

But who makes it work better: Emilie or Kristen?

Brace yourself, Robsten fans, ’cause you’re gonna get some bad news before good (and more Remember Me sneak peaks) after the jump…

As we said last month, Rob and Emilie have some pretty steamy chemistry in Remember Me.

While studio suits were concerned for, like, a second that fans would have a hard time seeing Rob go at it onscreen with anyone other than Kristen, that worry has come and passed. Like, forever ago. R.Pattz is a great ticket sell just on his own.

So expect Me to be packaged a bit like New Moon was. He and Emilie already role-played a museum date for Vogue last month, and we don’t think the PR train pushing these two together will be slowing down in the coming months.

We’re not that concerned, though. As long as our main gal Kristen has him behind the scenes, we say give us more Rob and Emilie. The movie is supposed to be great (Rob’s acting, especially) so we’re all for seeing more of his sexy, scruffy mug.

Plus, K.Stew so isn’t the type of babe to get worked up over that kinda thing. Their work comes first.

What say you all—are you excited to see Remember Me or is it too painful to watch R.Pattz hook up onscreen with a gal not Kristen?
